GAIGAI’S MEGA CRUISE EVENT POSTPONED TO 29 – 31 MAY 2020 IN VIEW OF COVID-19

  • GaiGai partners Zouk At Sea for singles’ cruise event – summer edition happening on 29-31 May 2020
  • This is their second singles’ cruise event with an expected turnout of 100 attendees
  • Event postponed from initial February dates to safeguard well-being of participants and facilitators

Local leading dating agency GaiGai has postponed its Valentine’s Day Mega Event onboard Genting Dream Cruise to new dates in May 2020 (29 May to 31 May 2020), in view of COVID-19 outbreak in Asia. GaiGai at Sea on The WKND by Zouk at Sea: Valentine Edition was slated to sail-off on 14 February to 16 February 2020, with an expected turnout of 100 single attendees.

The 3D2N singles’ event is held in collaboration with Zouk At Sea, and marks GaiGai’s second time working with Zouk after their first edition in October 2019, where it was met with overwhelming response, with slots being snapped up within one week. The event was also a resounding success, with highly positive feedback from participants and a successful match rate of 30%.

Mr Alex Tam, Head of GaiGai said: “The well-being of our participants and facilitators are at the top of our concerns when the COVID-19 situation was rapidly developing in January 2020. GaiGai immediately worked with Zouk At Sea and Genting Dream Cruises on precautionary measures and also provided timely updates to our participants. Our priority is to safeguard the interests of our participants – both in terms of the booked cabins as well as their safety. Even though the cruise event has been postponed, we will continue to monitor the situation closely. Our GaiGai team is still highly excited and driven to deliver the GaiGai experience during this romantic 3D2N getaway.”

GaiGai at Sea: Valentine Edition has been postponed to GaiGai at Sea: Summer Edition, happening from 29 May to 31 May 2020. The mega event will happen onboard Genting Dream Cruise, Asia’s first luxury cruise line. Participants will be treated to an attractive fare with a fun-filled curated itinerary, which includes meals in fine-dining establishments, games and challenges in Zouk Club, interest-based activities with guaranteed rotations, a romantic-themed gala night, and the famous Foam Party at outdoor club Zouk Beach Club. Fleek, GaiGai’s coaching arm, will also come on board to provide enriching talks to participants.

This event is supported by Spark Connections, a bi-annual signature initiative by Social Development Network  (SDN), for eligible individuals to expand their social network and make new friends while pursuing their hobbies and interests.
