33rd TIFF: Oct. 31 – Nov. 9, 2020 At Roppongi Hills and Hibiya area
TIFFCOM2020: Nov. 4 – 6, 2020 At The Prince Park Tower Tokyo
The Tokyo International Film Festival (TIFF) and TIFFCOM2020 -the Marketplace for Film and TV in Asia- have announced 2020 dates for the festival and market. The 33rd TIFF will be held for 10 days from October 31 (Sat.) through November 9 (Mon.) at Roppongi Hills, the Hibiya area and other venues in Tokyo; while TIFFCOM will be held for 3 days from November 4 (Wed.) through 6 (Fri.) at a new venue, The Prince Park Tower Tokyo. TIFF and TIFFCOM will strengthen their collaboration, creating new fall colors with film, since they are running during the same period at venues that are within walking distance from each other in central Tokyo.
|“This year’s Tokyo International Film Festival will deepen communications with other countries like never before, during this year of the Tokyo Olympics and Paralympics,” commented TIFF Chairman Hiroyasu Ando. “Focusing on cooperation with TIFFCOM, which will once again be held at the same time as TIFF, we would like to enrich the festival’s content. We look forward to welcoming you to the 33rd TIFF.”|
TIFFCOM CEO Yasushi Shiina commented: “TIFFCOM2019 welcomed participants from 56 countries/regions around the world, and it’s growing bigger and bigger every year. Marking our 17th year in 2020, TIFFCOM will move to a new venue closer to the festival. TIFFCOM will continue developing as a marketplace for the latest comprehensive audiovisual projects and products, and an ever-expanding global network.”
See you in Tokyo in 2020!
