The seventh edition of Galleries’ Night returns to Bangkok on February 14th and 15th, with a record gathering of more than 65 galleries and 250 artists from Thailand and all over the world.
During two nights, Galleries’ Night connects art lovers, serious collectors and enthusiasts and invites them to discover famous or hidden art spaces through two different journeys :
Feb. 14th on Silom/Sathorn/ Riverside
Feb. 15th on Sukhumvit/Pathumwan
Getting from one gallery to another by our dedicated tuktuks, the audience will enjoy special events and unique contemporary creations in the galleries, which join us every year on this magical night , reflecting the truly global nature of Galleries’ Night.
On the occasion of Valentine’s Day, the two nights will invite the Bangkokians to fall in love with art, culture and beautiful places. One watchword: “Love is in the art”.
The Press Conference for Galleries’ Night will be held on Wednesday, January 15th 2020 from 5.00 p.m., at the Residence of the French Ambassador.
This year, Galleries’ Night breaks new ground. In a new format, the press conference will enhance exchanges and discussions, with the aim of fostering enriching encounters between artists, galleries and journalists.
You will have the opportunity to talk and interview galleries, artists and organization members in a relaxed and beautiful venue.

A B O U T
First launched in Thailand in 2013 and inspired by “La Nuit Blanche” (The white nights of Paris), Galleries’ Night is nowadays a highlight of the cultural season in Bangkok bringing together, year after year, a larger audience of curious-minded people and art lovers.
On the night visitors will discover Silom/ Sathorn / Riverside galleries and on the night they will discover Sukhumvit galleries.
JOURNEY
The audiences are invited to go from one gallery to another.
To help the visitors through this journey, 30 dedicated tuk-tuks will travel through specific routes.
Of course, audiences can also take public transportation as well as walking to access each gallery. The dedicated mobile application of Galleries Night (powered by Pimclick) is available for free on Android and Apple stores and aims to help the visitors to choose and find the galleries.
The website French-highlights.com and Facebook page La Fête and Galleries’ Night BKK will also be here to update all related info.
For something a little more classic, a print map with all the galleries and tuk-tuk routes will be provided for free. Also, more than 80 volunteers will be available to answer your inquiries.
EXHIBITIONS & SPECIAL EVENTS
The galleries will be open from 5 p.m. onwards; the list will be available on Facebook, printed map and mobile application.
Some of them will host special events such as dance, painting performances or live talks. For the official opening ceremony, we will invite partners, press, guests and the public to join us for a special launching drink on Friday, February 14th, 2020 (venue to be announced).
