Hong Kong luxury hotel presents stylish signature suites with personality
Completing the first phase of its extensive USD30 million facelift in September last year, The Langham, Hong Kong unveils its latest addition of stylish signature suites that heightens its new era of luxury.
“We are proud to introduce two new signature suites, the Penthouse Suite and Director Suite. Only one of each kind, these suites provide luxury at its finest,” said the hotel’s Managing Director Shaun Campbell. “Both suites have personalities of their own, reflecting elements in which the hotel is located.”
International award-winning G.A Design was appointed to create a luxury residential experience with exquisite attention to detail. The inspiration was to design an individual look for each suite and capture the character and culture of the hotel’s residence. Both suites feature distinctive living spaces with character pieces.
Surrounded by luxury designer stores, the Penthouse Suite (125 square meters) recalls the fashion houses in Europe. The opulent two-bedroom suite features soft color tones of cream, silver, and touches of red-violet, incorporating a living room with a decorative fireplace and a dining room that can accommodate up to six people. Styled with hand-crafted furniture that boasts meticulous pleating and silk upholstery, the Penthouse Suite is embellished with one-of-a-kind art pieces, diamond-cut mirror paneling, crystal chandeliers, and lifestyle furnishings.
Additionally, the Penthouse Suite encompasses two bathrooms that have immaculate bathing areas and separate showers, all made from Italian marble. The spare guest bathroom and luxurious toiletries provide guests with world-class comfort and convenience.

The design journey for the Director Suite (89 square meters) was initially influenced by the Avenue of Stars, only mere minutes away from where the hotel resides. Exuding warmer colors of black, grey and sepia, this spacious one-bedroom suite harmoniously blends Asian elements while still expressing its own artistic individuality. Featuring jewel accents and polished veneer, finished with high gloss, nickel, Lucite, and glass, the entrance sets the stage with monochromatic mirror walls that lead to the living room where character pieces are smartly situated. Discerning travelers can watch a film on an oversized 46-inch high-definition smart television, enjoy reading a vintage book of the extensive library collection or conduct business on the custom-made working desk and director’s chair. Adjacent to the living room is the dining room where up to six guests can be seated for intimate parties.

The Director Suite has a luxurious bathroom with an oversized bath and an independent rain shower. There is also a supplemental guest bathroom where both are made with imported white and gold marble and feature indulgent bath products as well.
Offering not only clever bespoke detailing, guests who book either signature suites will gain preferential privileges such as access to the Langham Club lounge, a personal Guest Experience Manager and a dedicated Shopping Butler.
Both suites also showcase full trays of assorted spirits, iHome docking stations, Wedgwood chinaware, and crystal glassware, and his and her accessories set. Fresh flowers and chilled champagne will welcome guests to experience a five-star stay at this residence of choice.
Later this year, the hotel will begin the second phase of its transformation with additional room refurbishment, including one more signature suite.
